The customer cannot increase the bandwidth for their ExpressRoute circuit and receives an insufficient capacity error message in the Azure portal.
The upgrade from 1000 to 2000 on ExpressRoute circuit: xxxxxxx did not succeed due to insufficient capacity with Megaport. No changes have been made to this circuit at this time. Please work with your service provider to create a new circuit when capacity becomes available.
This is a Microsoft Azure issue—Azure has determined that the port for the VXC is full and cannot support the request to increase capacity. (Megaport cannot control the capacity for an Azure interconnect.)
The only option is to order a new VXC at the required speed and Azure will position it on another interconnect that has sufficient capacity.
