Megaport Marketplace Overview
Megaport Marketplace is an online hub where global service providers and enterprise customers interconnect. Service providers can showcase their brand, reach global enterprises, scale to new markets, and provide solutions for businesses worldwide. Enterprises can connect to a broad range of internet services, cloud providers, managed services, and many others.
Key features of the Megaport Marketplace include:

Neutral and inclusive – Megaport is data center agnostic, meaning that customers can access the Megaport Marketplace and tap into services by some of the world’s leading technology providers without being locked to a single data center provider.

Rapid and agile connectivity – Customers can find and connect to service providers around the world in minutes.

Self-serve – Customers can connect with who they want and when they want to meet their specific business needs.
To browse the list of available providers, click the Megaport Marketplace menu item at the top of the Portal page.
The Megaport Marketplace displays a list of all participants. You can filter based on any of these values:

Company Name – Filter by name or character string to find matching companies.

Port Speed – Filter by the maximum possible speed of the port.
Note
The speed does not reflect the actual speed for the connection, but only the maximum possible.

Provider Type – Filter by the type of service. Each product type includes various sub-categories to allow more granular filtering.

Country – Filter the providers based on the country locations for their ports.
From the results, click a provider to go to their profile page.
The profile page displays information about the provider and a list of their port locations available for connections. You can create a VXC to any of these connections.
To create a VXC to a Megaport Marketplace provider
- From the provider profile page, find the port in the location you want and click + Connection.

In the new VXC Connection screen, select one of your Ports as the source of the connection.

Click Next.

Complete the details.
These will vary based on the service provider. -
Click Order.
- Review the Order Services agreement, and click Order Now.
Once you deploy the VXC, the provider will receive a notification of your connection request. The provider will be prompted to log in to their portal account and authorize this request. Once the provider approves the connection, the VXC will be configured and usable within 59 seconds.
